This was announced by the head of the National Agency for Population and Family Planning (BKKBN) dr. (HC) Dr. Hasto Wardoyo, Sp.OG (K).
Adequate consumption of amino acids turns out to be very necessary for young children.
What else in children 24 months and younger.

Hasto also communicated the reason.
“Because after 24 months the fontanelle closed, so the brain volume growth slightly increased,” Hasto said in his statement, Wednesday (3/5/2023).

In addition to animal proteins, Hasto recalled that a balanced nutritional intake must still be made.
Among them, such as the consumption of vegetables, fruit and milk.
Especially at the age of up to two years and 24 months, nutritional adequacy must really be considered.
Hasto also stressed the importance of parents really paying attention to the Golden Period or First 1000 Days of Life (HPK) for babies.
That is, from conception to the age of 24 months.

“It really has to be maximized by providing nutritional intake so that children are free from stunting and their growth and development, including their intellectual development, is maximized,” Hasto Wardoyo explained.
FYI, President Joko Widodo aims to bring down the stunting rate to 14% in 2024 in Indonesia.
The Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey (SSGI) stunting rate for 2022 itself is actually down 2.8% from 2021.
However, it has not yet met the president’s goal because the stunting rate in 2022 is only 21.6%.
To reach 14% in 2024, it must decrease on average by at least 3.8% per year.
