Christian Adinata says he defeated Chico in the SEA Games final – it’s just like training

AMPONTOONS.COM, PHNOM PENH – Indonesian men’s singles badminton player, Christian Adinata was able to defeat his compatriot, Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo in the final of SEA Games 2023 via rubber play, 12-21, 21-18 and 18-21 at Morodok Techno National Stadium Complex, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Tuesday (16/5/2023).
At the age of the match, Christian Adinata admitted that he was very proud, especially since it was not easy to beat his senior.
“Yes, first of all, thank God, I managed to win here, the fight was not easy from the start, but in the end I managed to go all the way to the end with the maximum,” said Christian Adinata.

As for the progress of the match, Christian admitted that he already knows Chico’s weaknesses.
The reason is that he and Chico often train together.
Even so, facing Chico requires extra energy than fighting other athletes at the 2023 SEA Games.
“Yes, it’s just like practicing, able to practice often Encounter they often play together. So, yes, think kayak just practice. But yeah, Bang Chiko’s opponent is tougher than the others” Christian said.
After appearing at the SEA Games, the man born in Pati 21 years ago will be back to prepare.
The closest is the Malaysia Masters where it will also be lined up at the Super 500 event.
“The next tournament on May 23 will be in the Malaysia Master Super 500, maybe the first goal is there,” he concluded.
