TRIBUNNEWS.IT – Juventus are second in the Italian league standings after a successful win against Atalanta on Sunday (7/5/2023).
Juventus won 0-2 when they visited Atalanta’s home at Italy’s Atleti Azzurri. This meant that the Bianconeri moved Lazio up the table of the Italian league.
Two Juventus goals were scored by Samuel Iling Junior (55′) and Dusan Vlahovic in stoppage time (90+9′).
In week 34 of the Italian league, it seems that Champions League tickets are being shuffled again. There has been a significant change in the Serie A standings from 2nd to 7th place.
Two teams from the city of Rome lost compactly against the Milanese duo. AS Roma lost 0-2 to Inter Milan while Lazio also lost to Milan by the same scoreline.
Lazio’s defeat was successfully exploited by Juventus, who previously sat under Lazio having recovered 15 points.

The Old Lady have now collected 66 points, two points clear of Lazio, who have 64. Meanwhile, Inter are currently in third place with 61 points.
Below, Milan are trailing with 61 points. Meanwhile, AS Roma were catapulted to seventh place in the standings.
Roma have the same points as Atalanta, only Atalanta are one level above them because they are better in terms of goal difference.
With four games to go, the possibility of a change in table position is still quite open.
The points gap which is not excessive requires each team to achieve a perfect victory if they are not to be surpassed in the rest of the season.
With Napoli having confirmed their title and facing the Champions League, the most exciting battle now comes in the fight for a ticket to qualifying for the European club competitions.
Napoli themselves are now quite ahead with 14 points and have a chance of getting 17 points if they win over Fiorentina in week 34.
