AMPONTOONS.COM, JAKARTA – Ahead of the 2023/24 League 1 event, RANS Nusantara FC accepted the invitation of Japanese League 2 club, Tokushima Vortis.
During their visit to the Land of the Rising Sun, RANS Nusantara FC will play a pre-season friendly with young midfielder Fadilla Akbar.
Fadilla Akbar conducted two training sessions with the first Vortis team at the Tokushima Vortis Training Center.

Not only Fadilla Akbar, RANS also brought midfielder from Japan, Mitsuru Marouka.
Feeling warmly welcomed, Fadil also admitted that he received an injection of enthusiasm for doing the exercises.
“It was tense at first, but the people here are nice, they welcomed me. This makes me an encouragement for me in training” Fadil said.
“Only, there was a bit of a language barrier which made me a bit slow in understanding what the coaching team wanted,” he added.
However, Shohei Matsunaga, a former Japanese player who had played in Indonesia, said Fadil was training very well and received attention from the Vortis coaching team.
Former Persib and Persiba player Balikpapan accompanied Fadil as a translator during training.

This statement is not mere praise, because from the one-off training plan, Tokushima Vortis head coach Benat Labaien invited Fadil to return to training with the first team on Friday (19/5/2023).
“It was a surprise, Fadil was invited back to train tomorrow with the first team,” explained Shohei after the first day of practice.
Getting a second chance, Fadil was also teased by RANS FC president, Raffi Ahmad, who ordered Fadil to stay in Japan in his Instagram post.
