TRIBUNNEWS.IT – Reports have been circulating of the friendly that brought Persija Jakarta to a Thai club, Ratchaburi FC.
This news was shared by a Twitter account from Thailand, @TheDragonianFC on Friday night (19/5/2023).
It is stated in the tweet that Persija vs Ratchaburi FC will compete on June 25, 2023 at Jakarta International Stadium (JIS).
The account even made a poster with Persija and Ratchaburi FC logos.

Until this article was published, Persija and Ratchaburi FC had not issued an official statement regarding the news of the friendly.
The account that posted the news that there would be a duel of Persija with Ratchaburi FC club also wrote that @TheDragonianFC was not an official account.

However, the news immediately caused a stir and made The Jakmania excited to welcome Ratchaburi FC to Indonesia.
The reason is that the Ratchaburi FC club itself is a club strengthened by Thailand international defender, Jonathan Khemdee.
