AMPONTOONS.COM, JAKARTA – After becoming the first winner of Indonesian Idol 2023, Salma Salsabil was haunted by the “curse” of the talent search champion.
Most champions of Indonesia Idol are said to have lost their prestige and ranked second when they entered the Indonesian music industry.

“I’m just running, luck is in control. It is proved in previous idols no matter how successful you are in the industry,” said Salma Salsabil in Kebon Jeruk area, West Jakarta on Tuesday (23/5/2023).
Salma doesn’t want to make this myth a scourge to fear after becoming the Indonesian Idol champion in season 12.
For Salma, the most important thing right now is that you continue to work steadily in the Indonesian music industry without thinking about anything.

“So whatever happens in the future, whether you want to go up or not, whether you like it or not, I’m grateful,” he said.
“I try to be honest and sincere in producing works that I have made myself,” said Salma.
The first step towards the work that Salma Salsabil brought after winning Indonesian Idol 2023 was the song “Respecting Words of Longing”.
Salma managed to win the Indonesia Idol 2023 after overcoming Nabila Taqiyyah or Nabilah in the two weeks of the grand final.
Indonesian idol prize money to complete college
Salma Salsabil won a prize of IDR 150 million and a luxury car as the first winner of Indonesian Idol 2023.
He plans to use the money to pay for the college he is currently attending.

Salma said the award would also be used for personal development in a career in the music business.
“I’m still in college, yes (the awards) are used for college,” Salma Salsabil said at MNC Studios Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta on Tuesday (5/23/2023).
“And yes, develop yourself in the future in the best possible way,” she explained.
